Ease makes wonderfully fumed ornate pieces that are characterised their unique colour changing skin. True appreciation of this piece comes when holding and moving it around to see the coloured glass at work. This Ease Fumed Glass Dry Pipe is a truly remarkable piece of glass art as our EDiTor’s Piece of the Day.

Ease has created this beautifully worked colour changing fumed glass dry pipe to perfection. This ornate piece sparkles upon the eye with its subtle changes of colour covering a vast array of rainbow like forms depending on what angle it is viewed due to the fuming process on the glass.

The Dry pipe contains the usual horned neckline that Ease glass pieces tend to have. The pipe is composed mainly of two large horns. The first chamber houses the bowl and is very deep due to the large horn. There is a red glass carb hole on the left side of the pipe. Also at the front of the first chamber in the centre there is a small patterned marble.

Moving onto the second horned chamber, there is a more fumed work giving incredible light to this piece. At the top of this second horn, there is a heavily worked bulbous mouthpiece that resembles a rainbow honeycomb pattern.

One of the most gorgeous parts of this piece is the large spiral marble with lens that connects both the horned chambers to finish off another masterpiece created by Ease.

Steve Gelb makes wonderfully imaginative pieces of glass in a unique style that is always branded with his ‘SG’ signature. One of the leaders of the borosilicate revolution, this piece is another aesthetic gem from the master glass blower himself.

The wonderfully ornate Steve Gelb Mini Tube with Inline Percolator starts with the heavily work bowl. This slide fits into an 18.8mm ground joint and is decorated different sized horns all the way around containing shades of red and blue. Set upon stained coloured glass there is a light green with black outlined ribbon pattern that wraps all the way around the outside of the bowl into the slide itself. This slide is very large and is a major focal point for the piece.

Smoke moves down the bowl into a straight decorated mini tube with a large disc decorated with 6 small red coloured glass horns around it and a coloured switchback design resembling a butterfly. Above the disc there is a small marble with the usual embedded ‘SG’ signature. This piece also has a brown coloured glass imprint with ‘SG’ above the marble.

After passing through the first chamber smoke moves through the incredibly made 7 slit inline perc. Smoke moves into the large cylindrical clear glass chamber before moving up another wonderfully decorate mini tube. The midsection has a beautiful purple, green, blue and black switchback design set upon a pink background. Above this design, there are three worked purple tentacles protruding upwards towards the mouthpiece.

At the top of the waterpipe, there’s a bulbous mouthpiece containing shades of purple, blue and green with 8 black beads around it.

Finally there is a wonderfully crafted clear glass crystal set upon a light blue, green and orange switchback design creating a kaleidoscope effect.

Very clever work done by Steve Gelb!

This Steve Gelb Standup Snorkle Carb Bubbler is a true masterpiece. The clear to blue and purple background sets the tone for the astonishing colour work throughout the whole piece. The bubbler is full of clever colour combinations and brilliant switchback designs. It’s fair to say that this is a worth Piece of the Day, Piece of the Week, Piece of the Month even!

This aesthetic gem contains many shades of blue and purple that mesh together to form a fine piece of art.

The bowl has blue spirals out the exterior moving into the bowl. Smoke then moves down a thick, spirally 3 hole diffuser into the main chamber. On the front of the pipe there is a small milli marble with the patented ‘SG’ signature on it. On the back, there is a large crystal like marble

There is a snorkel carb on the left side of the bubbler containing the same bluish spiral design set upon clear borosilicate glass. On the right of the glass, there are two tentacles protruding out of the bubbler and pointing upwards.  These tentacles have solid colouring work and contain shades of blue and purple as well a slight hints of yellow and green.

At the back of the main chamber, there is a crystal-like clear glass marble set upon a red background to add affect.

Smoke then moves up the bubbler and into the second chamber which resembles a curved arm with the same spiral blue and purple design throughout the pipe. This chamber houses the disc shaped mouthpiece that contains a blue, green and purple floral pattern on the front, as well as a blue and purple spiral design that resembles.

All in all, this is yet another brilliant masterpiece made by Steve Gelb.

Schmitz has graced our EDiTor’s Piece of the Day section again. His unique blend of heady , functional, vibrant coloured glass is a staple in the borosilicate revolution and this piece maintains his set of high standards.

Introducing the ‘Locomotive’ Glass Bubbler by Schmitz. This stand up bubbler features a vibrantly coloured design throughout, set upon clear borosilicate glass. The glass bowl is contains spirals moving into the pipe with shades of red, blue and green. On the left side of the bowl, there is a protruding red stained glass carb hole.

Smoke moves from the bowl into the main chamber that houses a large and wide 9 slit diffuser. The diffuser contains swirls of turquoise and orange. At the base of this mainly clear glass chamber there is a switchback design containing shades of red, orange, blue, green and turquoise. There is also a small etched ‘Schmitz’ signature next to this switchback.

Smoke then moves up into an incredibly worked and detailed second chamber that contains a large shield with orange and turquoise swirls, red stained glass arms and a tentacle like ornament leading up to the disc shaped mouthpiece.

The large disc shaped mouthpiece contains orange and turquoise swirls around the perimeter. At the centre of the mouthpiece there is a large switchback design containing shades of red, blue, orange, green and turquoise.

All in all, a very colourful and heady piece from Schmitz, a master glass blower in the game.

A truly special piece has graced our Piece of the day section today. This waterpipe is full of detail, colour and is also extremely rare due to the fact that Worm and Bigz do not collaborate anymore. In short, this might be the last of the warrior tubes.

This Worm and Bigz Warrior Tube is a sight to behold. The collaboration provides some fine colouring, design and engineering to create this hybrid glass bong. The stemless bong comes with a heavily worked pink stained to clear glass bowl with a rainbow switchback design. There are protruding purple to dark blue claws adorned around it. This includes a clear glass claw with spiralled marble work embedded inside. The bowl fits into an 18.8mm ground joint.

Smoke is passed through into the first chamber. This chamber is one of the most heavily worked chambers we have ever seen. It includes one large disc with a rainbow switchback design set upon a black background. This large disc forms the centre point and includes a beautiful large honeycomb marble at the centre of the switchback design. Protruding from the top of the disc there is a large clear glass claw with another gorgeous spiral design embedded inside. Overhanging from each side of this worked chamber there are two other (one on each side) similarly worked discs adorned with a honeycomb marble, coloured beads and clear glass claws.

Once smoke is passed through the astonishingly detailed first chamber it follows into the black 12 slit inline percolator at the bottom and up into the middle chamber, which houses a rainbow switchback designed 8 arm tree percolator that has another dazzling honeycomb marble at the top. Each arm on the percolator contains 3 slits to provide optimal smoke dispersion.

Once this fully treated smoke passes through the tree perc, it rises through the clear glass dome splashguard in the midsection, through the 3 ice pinches and up the straight tube at the top. The midsection also has a large heavily worked rainbow switchback design just below the mouthpiece. There is also a large clear glass round base signed by both Worm and Bigz at the bottom giving this piece sturdiness and security.

Worm and Bigz have really gone to work with this piece and it shows. Its radiance stands out next to any other glass waterpipe, making this a truly notable work of glass art.

Our EDiTor’s Piece of the Day is another visual masterpiece created by Illadelph. The company has now become a regular feature in this section and for good reason. We bring you the Killadelph Beaker Glass Bong in store at your favourite stop for Illadelph products online. This glass waterpipe stands taller than the rest of the medium beaker range at 21’/52.5cm.

This piece is made from the highest quality Schott Duran Borosilicate glass and is engineered to the very high standards that Illadelph set for all their products.

There is black on clear glass sectional work on the glass on glass joints. The waterpipe comes with the black Illadelph downstem with a platinum outlined logo. The downstem fits into an 18.8mm ground joint and has a 14.5mm female joint at the top to hold the Killadelph bowl. The bowl is covered in platinum target decals and is a 5 hole slide. This is all connected through a black keck clip.

The straight tube that leads to the mouthpiece is black coloured borosilicate glass and has the famous Killadelph ambigram logo. The waterpipe also features a Killadelph crest (Illadelph logo with target decal) on the back of the bong above the three ice pinches as well as different sized target decals throughout the remainder of the bong.

Introducing this colourful and vibrant Rex Dry Pipe with Tentacles. This glass pipe is made from the finest coloured borosilicate glass. It is pulled and worked to perfection. The main body of the pipe is pulled with shades of black and dark blue to give a midnight sky effect.

The first thing to strike the eye with this piece is the large honeycomb marble at the top of the pipe which peeps out like a creature’s eye. This marble is a very light brown honey colour with different shades of blue and green depending on what angle the marble is viewed.

The bowl is pulled with different shades of blue, green and purple creating a light contrast to the darker base of the pipe. The bowl is adorned with their own unique set of small marbles that carry floral and galaxy patterns. These marbles are one-offs and vary with each piece. There is also a carb hole on the left side of each bowl.

There is a large round chamber below the pipe and behind the honeycomb marble that has 6 large tentacles protruding from all around. These tentacles carry the dark blue and black pulled colour and curl up the pipe towards the mouthpiece to finish up this coloured glass pipe.
