Introducing the large Salt Dry ‘Devil’ Pipe. This coloured borosilicate glass pipe has some incredible work put into the tiny little details. Salt has made a name for himself by making different creature style designs with very intricate glass work behind them. This pipe is no exception to that rule. It contains 5 solid black glass horns adorned around the pipe. Two of these horns open up into a mouth that contains worked white borosilicate glass teeth, giving this pipe an ivory look.

The main body of the pipe has a worked creature style face that is made up of mainly different shades of red borosilicate glass with worked wrinkles throughout to give the piece a more realistic look. There is a worked glass eye with different shades of green and yellow with a black iris in the centre. This is set upon a white ‘eyeball’. Along the mouth there is another set of white teeth that contain so much detail they almost look real.

Just below the ‘demon’s mouth there is the mouthpiece, whilst the carb hole is on the other side of the pipe. The bowl for the pipe contains a ‘Salt’ signature and is on the underside of the demon’s face.

Both Seedism and DNA Genetics have come up with exciting new strains for cannabis seed collectors.

Introducing Termini’s Double Chamber Showerhead Tube. The innovative borosilicate glass bong is created by the Cannabis Cup winner Karl Termini. This handsome piece is a limited edition innovative masterpiece.

There’s a shower head downstem with a dome jet-flash percolator. Smoke is immediately run through this first perc through the first chamber at the bottom. The perc is designed to allow smoke to come out through the water at a quicker rate than normal. This gives a jet-stream sort of effect.  It is then dispersed through to the second chamber that houses a dome perc with slightly angled slits. After this treatment of the smoke, it travels up the long tube at the top through the large mouthpiece.

This bong is made from the finest Schott Duran borosilicate glass. It is 5mm thick in glass and stands 500mm tall. There is a sandblasted ‘Termini Transatlantic’ logo at the bottom and another sandblasted ‘Technisch’ logo at the top. With a perfect combination of style and functionality this glass bong is a must have for any glass aficionado out there.

Introducing the amazing creature diffused glass ash catcher by ‘Salt’, an astoundingly talented glass blower.

At first glance this may look like a simple 18.8 glass ash catcher but it does not take long to realise how special this piece of art glass really is.

The ash catcher itself is a diffused, bottle shape, cylindrical ash catcher which has been strengthened with additional glass at key points in the design.

The pièce de résistance however is the ‘creature’ which composes the pinhole diffused downstem portion of this ash catcher.

The creature has been formed using clear glass in which the emerald green colouring has been pulled through creating a very reptilian feel.

It is composed of layers, which gives the illusion of a plated skin, or an armoured shell.

In addition to this is a row of white glass teeth which line one side of the creature, just below the pinholes which compose the diffused downstem.

The most amazing part of this piece is the focal point that is the eye! The creature’s eye is so intricately created you can define the different canes of glass used to create the iris, the pupil, the cornea and the lens, as well as a worked eyelid which gives that ‘evil’ stare.

The work that is involved in the manufacturing of such a piece is nothing shy of mind boggling, another truly magnificent piece of art glass from Salt.

The sun is shining in Barcelona and the crew after a few mishaps, and one member pulling his hamstring (bed ridden) the rest of the EDiT crew managed to arrive at Spannabis, being Friday it wasn’t that busy initially but during the afternoon soon became very busy indeed with throngs of people coming to see the finest innovations in both the seed collectors market and the paraphernalia producers too.

Wasting no time the G-man and Gorilladaze soon secured some exciting new promotions to come to you over the next few months, with some big name seed companies determined to give you some free seeds over the next few months to say thank you for supporting them over the year.

The stands were as ever well made with some stands being exceptional; Big Buddha Seeds had a huge interactive touch screen display, with an amazing stand promoting his new Tahoe Kush. We have also been impressed with EVA Seeds and who were turning out some real soulful reggae, a very nice stand, our tip for best stand at the fair.

Introducing the Brandon Martin Electroformed Head Pipe! This heady pipe is a wonder to behold with the sheer amount of detail put into the coloured glass and electroformed work.

At first glance, this incredible work of glass art resembles a beetle with its shape. A closer look into the piece reveals reddish brown coloured glass worked into the shape of a head. There are two black tentacles protruding from the forehead of this head with bits of electroformed work throughout the tentacles. At the bottom of the head on the left side there is a curled turquoise blue horn protruding off the side and pointing downwards. The base of this curved horn also has electroformed work which wraps around the neck of the face.

The mouthpiece for this pipe is at the top of the head, whilst the bowl is fitted on the back of the head. There is also a carb hole that sticks out the bottom of the neck. This is an incredible heady pipe made from the one and only Brandon Martin.

This Stemless Oil Dome Waterpipe by GingerELA is another beautiful masterpiece from the exciting glassblower. This piece is small and thin in size making it easy to move around and easy to hold.

The Oil Dome fits into an 18.8mm ground joint. There are two different coloured glass designs on this dome. The first one fitted around the hole is set upon a white background and contains two different shades of red, two shades of orange, yellow and turquoise coloured glass forming the brilliantly worked switchback upon the white borosilicate glass. The other coloured glass design wraps around the circumference of the dome and contains swirly patterns made up from shades of blue, green, purple and yellow forming a brilliant colour contrast with the switchback design above.

Smoke moves down the arm of this stemless piece into the main bottle shaped chamber that houses the 5 hole diffuser for optimal smoke dispersion. The bottom of this chamber contains a complete switchback design in the same mould as the one on the dome. There are three marbles with different designs that form a line up this bottle chamber. The first one contains a similar switchback design to the aforementioned ones. The second marble contains a swirly pattern with shades of blue, green, purple, yellow and black. Whilst the third marble at the top contains a honeycomb design set upon a light metallic blue colour.

Smoke then rises up towards the mouthpiece, passing through the midsection design that contains a switchback and swirly pattern with the same shades of blue, green, purple, black and yellow. The mouthpiece rises and leans back for usability.

This GingerELA piece is supported by a circular base that houses a light yellow galaxy marble. There is also a glass vine that breaks out into horns that contains yellow coloured rings set upon stained yellow glass.
