ITS ALL GONE DARK! EDiT towers has been plunged into complete and utter darkness with the removal of our electrickery supply. So we have no phones, or internet, or anything remotely electrical! We are still processing orders through the use of cunningly placed mirrors and highly trained glow worms. So all orders placed to day will still leave the building as usual……..

Of course no glow worms have been harmed in the making of this blog!

Gremlins Don’t Respect Christmas – Its Official

The first fork full of turkey had just hit G-Man’s mouth when the alarm bells started ringing back at EDIT HQ. As the EDIT faithful will have noted, the website has been down for more than 24 hours, it appears that the servers that house EDIT were relocated and we seem to have not got the memo!

We can only lay the blame for this at the feet of the Gremlins that call at every organisation now and again, its official “Gremlins Don’t Respect Christmas”. G-man’s turkey is in the dog, his cracker has been pulled and all his presents are back under the tree but never fear EDIT is back now and won’t be going anywhere soon!

Don’t forget you guys that the VAT Increase is not going to effect any of the EDIT prices as the G-man has decided that there is NO VAT INCREASE, take advantage of his extraordinary generosity by filling your basket with all your favourite goodies at 2010 prices!

Dearest EDIT faithful, this year the ‘G-man’ and his cronies are crossing land and sea to be part of the 23rd High Times Cannabis Cup!
And as an added bonus to all of those who cannot make, EDIT is going LIVE!
The ‘G-man’ and crew are going to be blogging and tweeting and posting and videoing and… (you get the idea) all LIVE from Amsterdam Holland.
There will be continuous news of all the latest goings on from the Cannabis Cup and all of Amsterdam’s little hotspots.

.This week from the 16th July – 18th July the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Ontario, Canada held host to the first annual Treating Yourself Medical Marijuana and Hemp Expo.
Here at EDIT we heard all about it beforehand and decided to book the tickets,  jump on a plane and fly half way across the world to see what all the hype was about! Here is what we found out…

The high profile names were all there including Greenhouse seeds, DNA Genetics seeds and Serious Seeds. Roor Bongs showcased its new vaporizer collaboration with Herborizer and
the results are astounding.

Yes…. thats a ROOR VAPORIZER!

The show was visited by a dynamic range of visitors;  outlets, professionals, and medical experts whom all met together to discuss the merits of medicinal marijuana.

The atmosphere at the show was truly unique because the organisers had done a fantastic job at lining up a busy schedule of events for us all to enjoy. Fashion shows, musical performances,  seminars and speeches,  stand up comedy shows and documentaries all made the show enjoyable and entertaining as well as informative and educational.
Ultimately the show was nothing short of amazing and we give a big thumbs up to those at the Treating Yourself Magazine who made the event un-missable. We can confirm many of the new products showcased at the expo will soon be joining our product catalogue.

We are pleased to announce a slight improvement in Royal Mail’s UK delivery service, with Next Day deliveries now GUARANTEED on a Saturday within the UK. It was previously only guaranteed Next Business day, which meant a package sent out on a Friday might not be there until Monday. Well those days are apparently gone.

For a while now, Royal Mail have been getting Next Day packages delivered on Saturdays anyway so it might not make an awful lot of difference to too many people. But it does give us a bit more of a leg to stand on should they be delivered late.

Furthermore, it’s Friday tomorrow so you can order between now and 4:20pm tomorrow and not worry about not receiving the goods until after the weekend.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the greatest ever excuse for your order being delayed! We’ve got volcano trouble! That’s right, folks, international orders dispatched from this weekend (and possibly the day before) will struggle to reach you in incredibly swift fashion due to the vast cloud of volcanic ash which is hovering over Britain and Europe and preventing planes from taking –off, hence no airmail.

UK packages should still be on their way, though Royal Mail do usually use planes to move mail up and down the country, so there could be a day or two delay on those packages as Royal Mail reorganise themselves into vans and trains only.

So, my apologies for any inconvenience cause by the Eyjafjallajokull eruption in Iceland, but there’s not a lot we can do, save stand at the windows and try blowing the clouds away (which was fun for a few seconds but has grown somewhat wearisome now).

I know they are re-assessing the no-fly order over Britain this evening (about 7pm-ish), but I have also heard that the volcano isn’t easing up with its ash-spewing, so we don’t yet know when this will be sorted out. We will keep you as informed as we can.
