Tobacco
contains harmful compounds. They are carcinogenic and increase the risk
of a smoker developing cancer. There are many herbal alternatives that
contain less manufactured compounds that do bad things to your body.
But there are also alternatives that have been used as 'perception-altering'
substances in their own right.
These legal highs
are a decent alternative to using tobacco in a 'mix'.
Hash, as a solid, burns slowly. Unless you fancy doing it the Tibetan
way and smoking big balls of hashish through a huge pipe, it might be
better to grate or burn your solid. Mixing the grated hash with some
herbal substance will help it burn faster. Get more out of hash by smoking
it slowly. You have to let that bugger cook nicely to get the best out
of it. Whichever way, it's best to use a gauze when smoking with hash.
It prevents pieces of the solid blocking up the pipes.
Grating or Grinding your mix helps the substances burn more evenly.
That way the smoker gets the most out of those substances.
Saying that, smoking a pure mix offers the best chance of inhaling the
largest percentage of Delta9-THC. It stands to reason, right? So mixing
it with tobacco is, in my opinion, a mistake. If you must mix your weed
or hash etc, then use a substance that offers less harmful compounds,
like the herbal
highs, but adds a twist to the effect; a 'high' of it's own.
