AK47 Wins 2nd Prize Indica Cup at the High Times Cannabis Cup 2003

Once again AK47 wins a prize now a total of eight awards but this time it won the Indica cup when AK is more classified as a Sativa, how is that.

If you keep the track of Sativa/Indica % over multiple generations, and make a nice calculation, you have an exact number, within even ½%. That's on paper, but in real life, it is not that predictable.

Imagine that during your breeding process you choose from each generation the shortest, fattest, most kick-ass plants for next parents all the time.

Indeed, the % stays the same whichever plants you choose but the plants effect and looks will be more what we call Indica-like. Such is the case, more or less.

At last years cup there were reversed entries such as already clear Sativas in the Indica category. As AK is more appropriately described as an Indica type of effect, we decided to enter it under Indica.

This is why I have had to explain the reason for this change.

I am aware that this will cause a disturbance amongst the growers' community but it will also open a discussion about the rigid division in Sativa/Indica when considering plants resulting from inbreeding over many generations.

Finally, the fact that AK47 wins whichever category it enters, proves the overall quality of this super plant.
