Coffeeshop Any Day is a new entrant this year in the Cannabis Cup. It is a small shop but you get a real open, airy feeling with the main room being two-thirds windows with a high ceiling. Up the spiral staircase you will find a lot more seating. This shop is known for having 3 glass bongs which are always clean. They also have five vaporizers in the shop. Perhaps that explains why they have so many American customers in their shop. On offer they have 12 weed varieties with 3 imports, including Thai Sticks. (I hadn’t seen those in years!) They also have pure “Haze” and ”Skunk” joints and 10 hash verities. Igor, the owner, has his own philosophy about weed and weed growing which I am sure he will be happy to share with you. Since many of his customers are “pure smokers” he feels that taste the most important. In order to get a good quality product with a good taste, he encourages his growers to cure the grass for a long time. The favourite smoke in Coffeeshop Any Day is “Stella Blue” This plant originated in Humboldt County, CA and was brought over to Holland as 2 babies wrapped up in a bouquet of flowers. The grower, who they call “Old School”, has worked with this “Stella Blue” in Holland using the same techniques as he used in Humboldt County for so many years.
