Howard Marks DVD Release party

Lucky us! We received an invitation to the release party for Howard Marks' new offering; the Mr. Nice DVD.

The DVD consists of live recordings from Howard's recent sell-out UK tour, with extra features including interviews with Howard and friends, as well as a bonus spoken word CD. As anyone who's seen Howard's performances will tell you, he regails his audience with truly hilarious anicdotes of a drug smuggler's life, as well as entertaining muse on current affairs, portrayed through Howard's famous demeanor of the defiant, loveable rogue. Anyone even remotely interested in cannabis, experimentation of the spoken word, or indeed, anyone with a sense of humour, simply MUST see Howard perform!

The release party was a great night, hosted in the 'Tardis Studios' in Farringdon on May 7th 2003, and attended by all manner of heads and media bods.
A short reading from Howard was sandwiched inbetween a live acoustic set from Claire Nicolson (guitarist for Mel C. backing vocals for Jools Holland and Sam Brown) and Paulo of 'Pillow'; as well as beatbox action from the world's fastest rapper, (and that's official!) JC001.
