Pride
in the Park 2003

The
massive open-air festival follows the traditional Gay Pride Parade
which this year will started at Victoria Embankment, past The
Houses of Parliament and Downing Street and through central London
finishing in Hyde Park.
Pride in the Park includes a massive rock 'n' pop stage, where
for the very first time festival goers were able to watch the
acts from a specially built open air auditorium. Other attractions
include a multitude of dance tents featuring top London club DJs,
a cabaret stage, sports arena, community village, market place,
and a same sex commitment tent.
The
festival was absolutely packed full of people, but unfortunately,
it was tainted somewhat by the truly incredible amount of rain
that poured down for the later part of the day. Our stall actually
flooded!
