Schmitz Dome Glass Bubbler – EDiTor’s Piece of the Day 12.03.2012
Introducing another dome style bubbler by Schmitz.
This wonderful stand alone glass bubbler is composed of a number of key focal points.
These focal points include the main clear glass chamber which comes complete with inbuilt diffused downstem.
This downstem extends into the ground joint upon which the bowl sits, displaying the detailed linework the bowl contains.
The final focal point to take note of is the creatively styled neck of the bubbler which again reflects the same kite styling as displayed on the bowl. This neckline uses coloured borosilicate glass to highlight the contrast between these main sections, to amazing effect.
Upon first glance this bubbler is simple using clear colour contrast to extenuate the key features, however upon closer inspection, styling like the coloured millies on the mouthpiece truly make this a piece of glass art from Schmitz.
