Las Vegas - Sin City famous for its casinos, nightclubs, buffets and all sorts of adult entertainment. And now the Entertainment Capital of the World is playing host to the world's first interactive Cannabis Museum; adding to its list of sights and attractions.
On the 20th of September 2018 the Cannabition Cannabis Museum opened its doors to the public in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to the creators of Cannabition their aim with the museum is to destigmatize marijuana use for the general public. Founder of the attraction J.J Walker told the press “our goal when people come out of this is that they don’t fear the cannabis industry if they are not believers in the industry”.
The museum is not about serving those who have a deep-love for the herb but rather serving the masses that want to educate themselves on the sweet substance or just to have fun in a cool, new and innovative museum.
The State of Nevada legalized the drug last year (2017) however, the State does not grant social consumption licenses. So, bad news if you want to get high whilst walking alongside the giant glass bong.
Aforementioned, because of the glass bong; the museum isn't entirely educational, although for the most part, it is. A lot of the exhibits advocate for their visitors to post pictures on social platforms and play some in-house games and quizzes!
While (unfortunately) you can’t light up and consume cannabis in the museum, you must be over 21 years of age to enter.
Sounds like a good way to spend your time between losing all your money in the casino and waiting in line to get into an overpriced buffet!
